Q? Where should I start?
A? Probably the best way to start is to jump right in and write a review for something. Have you taken a recent trip and had a good or bad experience in a hotel? Click on Hotel Review and start filling in the information. The more detailed you are the better but don't worry if you don't know all the information.
Q? What are these categories?
A? By picking appropriate values for the categories, you allow other people to find the reviews that matter for them. For example, if everyone picks the value "Disneyland" when writing reviews for hotels, restaurants, or activities for the region around Disney then, another person can log in, click on DisneyLand, and see ALL reviews related to Disney.
Q? Can I suggest new categories?
A? Sure. We are trying to avoid information overload so we have limited the number of entries for the various category types. However, if you have a review you would like to post that really doesn't match anything listed, please create a posting in the Site Suggestions forum. Alternately, you can contact us directly and we will see what we can do.
Q? Can I attach images to posts?
A? Yes, for certain types of reviews, you are allowed to attach your image. If you see a little icon,
, near the bottom of the editor window then images are allowed. The general process is to
1)Upload an image
2)Specify some info about that image and
3)Insert a link to that image in your post.
The link looks pretty wierd but, trust us, if you don't mess with it, it works. :)
