All Inclusive Resort

Doubletree Guest Suites Boston/Waltham

I stayed here on a one night business trip in the fall of 2007. The trees were still clinging onto their last few beautiful orange and red leaves but the wind was blowing hard trying to scatter them. I didn't much time to explore the hotel - mostly just found the average bed and went to sleep. The hotel itself is build around a very nice internal courtyard. The rooms are large - a split suite with a couch and TV in one room and the bed in the other.

Viva Wyndham Maya

We absolutely loved our vacation at the Viva Wyndham Maya. We originally picked the resort a couple of reasons:
1) We stayed at the resort next door on a previous trip so we knew we liked the area and the beaches
2) We heard the Wyndham resorts were good for kids
3) We found a smokin deal on the internet.

I have to say, we were not disappointed. The property is very lush, with a jungle theme to the landscaping (as opposed to a more formal, manicured look). There are cenotes on the property, iguanas walking around, dense stands of trees with paths running through them, etc.
